Strike Highway Worker/Emergency Responder Revocation
If your driving privilege has been revoked due to striking a highway worker/emergency responder, you must submit the following in order for your privilege to be reinstated:
- Proof of passing scores on the written and skills test
- A $20 reinstatement fee. You may pay your reinstatement fee online at mydmv.mo.gov using the following credit/debit cards: Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®.
NOTE: You may submit the above requirements to our central office by mail at PO Box 200, Jefferson City, MO 65105-0200.
The $20 fee is required by Missouri law to reinstate your driving privilege after it has been suspended/revoked. You may pay your reinstatement fee online at mydmv.mo.gov using the following credit/debit cards: Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®.
The revocation can be removed from your driving record five years from the reinstatement date. You must contact our office to request that the action be removed.

You may petition to appeal the revocation before a circuit division or associate division court in the county in which the accident occurred. The prosecuting attorney of the county shall appear at the hearing on behalf of the Director of Revenue. The court, in its discretion, may grant an order staying the revocation until such time as the petition for review can be heard. Such order shall serve as proof of the privilege to operate a motor vehicle in this state until the petition for review can be heard.
