Accessibility
The Missouri Department of Revenue is committed to making our information technology accessible to all people regardless of disability. This design complies with Missouri Digital Media Developers (DMD) Web Guidelines, including accessibility guidelines for Section 508 and Chapter 191 compliant web pages.
The website is tableless, using cascading style sheets (CSS) to manage the page presentation. These technologies mean that the new pages are faster to download, available to a variety of display devices, such as PDAs, and more accessible to all users.

Text Size
In the past, the web site used an unadjustable font size. The use of that font size made the site inaccessible to the visually impaired since they could not enlarge the text to a readable size. The new design allows you maximum control over your experience. If the text on your browser looks too large or too small, follow these simple directions.
How to Increase or Decrease Text Size:
- Internet Explorer - Click on View, Text Size, and choose the “Medium” or “Default” option
- Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape - Click on View, Text Size or Text Zoom, Increase Text Size, Decrease Text Size, or hit "Ctrl+", or "Ctrl-" on your keyboard
- AOL Browser - Go to "My AOL" and select "Preferences", choose the "WWW" icon, in "Advanced Settings" select "Browser Display", choose an appropriate text size
Note: If you are using a mouse with a scroll wheel, another option for you is to hold down the "Ctrl" key and scroll up or down with the wheel. This method allows for easy adjustment of text size without using any menus (if your browser supports it).
