New Agents Announced for Jefferson City and Kansas City license offices

        JEFFERSON CITY – As previously announced, the Jefferson City and Kansas City branch license offices will close for a short period of transition after the close of business on June 15. Today, Missouri Department of Revenue Director Trish Vincent announced the names of the agents who will reopen those branch offices as contract offices.

        “Customer service is our first priority,” said Vincent. “I am excited to announce that Gary Wilbers and John Letzig have agreed to operate the Jefferson City and Kansas City branch offices, respectively. They both share my commitment to great customer service. This transition gives us an opportunity to change for the better, offer more convenient office hours, and at the same time, save taxpayer dollars.”

        Mr. Wilbers plans to continue operating the Jefferson City office at the existing location (1617 Southridge Drive) and reopen on June 20.  Mr. Letzig will take over responsibility for the Kansas City office, and plans to reopen on June 20 at the same location (615 East 13th Street, Suite 111 in the State Office Building).
