Downtown Kansas City license office to open Monday
JEFFERSON CITY – Kansas City residents will have a downtown motor vehicle and license office on Monday, August 29, the Missouri Department of Revenue announced today. The Downtown Council of Kansas City will reopen the Kansas City office at the same location as the previous office in the Fletcher Daniels Building at 615 East 13th Street, Suite 111.
“I am pleased that the Downtown Council understands the urgent need to reopen this office, and are doing everything possible to open on Monday,” department director Trish Vincent said. “I know the residents of Kansas City will be very happy with the level of service the Downtown Council will provide.”
“Customer service is our first priority,” said Vincent. “I am excited to complete the transition in the Kansas City area with an agent as dedicated to providing great customer service as the Downtown Council.”
Bill Dietrich, President and CEO of the Downtown Council, is looking forward to the challenge. “We are committed to providing the quality of service that Kansas City’s residents deserve. We are working diligently to re-open the facility as quickly as possible to ensure citizens experience no disruption of service. We believe in customer service. Over the coming months we will make physical improvements to the office and enhance basic services to ensure that this facility becomes the model for motor vehicle and driver license offices.”
