Gov. Blunt Names Julie A. Allen, CPA, PMP Acting Director of Department of Revenue

        JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Matt Blunt today announced that he has selected Julie A. Allen, CPA, PMP as the Acting Director of Revenue.

        Julie A. Allen, CPA, PMP started working for the Missouri Department of Revenue in February 2005 and currently serves as Director of the department’s customer Services division including taxation and collections, motor vehicle and driver licensing.  She also oversees the operations of 190 customer assistance centers located throughout the state of Missouri.

        Prior to her position with the Missouri Department of Revenue, Allen was a consultant for the government, implementing various technology projects and managing computer technology for the state of Mississippi.

        Allen attended the University of Nebraska, is a Certified Public Accountant and a certified Project Management Professional.
