Harrisonville Motor Vehicle and Driver Licensing Operations Shifting from Contract Agent to Winner of Competitive Bid

Office to be closed March 19 for switch

        CASS COUNTY – After it announced the bid winner for the Harrisonville motor vehicle and driver licensing contract office on March 1, the Missouri Department of Revenue stated today the office will change hands this weekend and Monday. The current agent, Chris Molendorp, will close his operation for good at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 16.

        The office will reopen Tuesday, March 20, under Tracy Zahnd with Red Moon Enterprises. The office remains in the same location, 2773 Cantrell Road, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.  The office phone number also remains unchanged at (816) 884-4133.  Beginning March 20, office hours are:

Monday – Friday
8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Saturday
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

        As part of its proposal during the competive bid process, Red Moon Enterprises pledged to give $2,500 annually to a Kansas City area charity, Synergy Services.
