West County Motor Vehicle and Driver Licensing Office Open Under New Agent

       ST. LOUIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Revenue announced that the first-ever contract office to be awarded by bid has opened today under the new agent, Ryker Enterprises.  The award was announced December 26, 2006.

       Revenue Director Trish Vincent thanked Gov. Matt Blunt for his continued commitment to improve efficiency and customer service. “I am very appreciative of Gov. Blunt’s leadership, and we will continue to look for new, innovative ways to improve service without additional costs,” Vincent said. “Thus far, the results from this pilot program are very encouraging, and I hope to see continued success.”

       The West County office remains in the same location, 15425 Manchester Road, #12, Ballwin, Missouri 63011.  The office phone number remains unchanged at (636) 230-5041.  Office hours are:

Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

First & Last Saturday of the Month
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

       Representatives from five state agencies participated in reviewing the competitive bids, and recommended Ryker Enterprises, Inc. over seven other bidders. The procurement file, including copies of the proposals and an evaluation report, are available for review through the Office of Administration’s website by searching for Bid Number, B3Z07031 at http://www.oa.mo.gov/purch/webimaging/Homepage.htm.

       Based on the success of the West County license office bid process, a second competitive process is ongoing for the Harrisonville contract office. The deadline for submissions for the Harrisonville office is February 2, 2007.
