Potosi Motor Vehicle and Driver Licensing Operations Shifting from Contract Agent to Winner of Competitive Bid

Office to be closed Monday, August 6

        WASHINGTON COUNTY – After it announced the bid winner for the Potosi motor vehicle and driver licensing contract office on July 13, the Missouri Department of Revenue said today the office will change hands this weekend and Monday. The current agent, Connie Sayers, will close her operation at 4:30 p.m. Friday, August 3.

        The office will reopen Tuesday, August 7, under Kathleen Marler, award winner of the department’s open, competitive bid process. The office remains in the same location, 219 East High in Potosi.  The office phone number also remains unchanged at (573) 438-2278.  Beginning August 7, office hours are:

Monday – Friday
8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Last Saturday of the Month
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

        As part of her proposal, Ms. Marler has pledged $2,000 annually to two St. Louis area charitable organizations: American Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House Charity.
