Sunshine Requests

The Sunshine Law is governed by Chapter 610 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. This page is a resource to help Missourians request open records from the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Many records the Department possesses are closed records. These records are not available through a Sunshine Law request but may be available in certain circumstances. The Department has created numerous forms that can be utilized to receive these closed records if the requester meets certain exceptions.
