There are many ways to get assistance regarding your taxes.

DORA

DORA is our virtual assistant and can be accessed 24/7 to help answer any questions you have. Click on DORA in the lower right-hand corner of your screen to get started.

MyTax Portal

Business Tax Customers are encouraged to use the MyTax Portal.  This service allows you to register an account where you can file and pay returns and track the returns and payments for Sales Tax, Use Tax, Employer Withholding Tax and Tire and Lead-Acid Battery Fee. Other services such as requesting a No Tax Due Certificate or requesting a payment plan are also available.

Individual Tax Customers can also register an account.  Only certain returns are available to file such as the MO 1040-A.  You may also file a Missouri Property Tax Credit Claim, request a payment plan or inquire about the status of your income tax return.

Tax Information Office

A Tax Information Office is open in the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W. High Street, Room 330, Jefferson City MO 65101.  Hours are 8:00am-4:45pm.

Customers can submit their payments and documents using a secure drop-box located within the office.  Customers can also ask questions regarding their accounts or notices received. Tax return preparation is NOT available, but may be available from a volunteer program in your area.
