January 30, 2014Pacific License Office contract awarded
JEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Pacific License Office to the Pacific Area Chamber of Commerce. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The Pacific Area Chamber of Commerce has been the contractor of the Pacific License Office since 1981. The Pacific License Office will remain at its current location at 333 Chamber Dr.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 50,000 transactions were conducted at the Pacific office, generating approximately $171,715 in agent processing fees.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
