Downtown St. Louis License Office contract awardedJEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Downtown St. Louis License Office to the City of St. Louis Collector of Revenue. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The City of St. Louis Collector of Revenue has been the agent of the Downtown St. Louis License Office since 2000. The license office will remain at its current location at 1200 Market St., Room 111.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 77,000 transactions were conducted at the Downtown St. Louis License Office, generating approximately $266,325 in agent processing fees.
All 182 local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
