Union License Office contract awardedJEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Union License Office to License Office Services, LLC in Jefferson City. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The Union License Office will remain at its current location at 105 S. Oak St.
In fiscal year 2014, more than 47,800 transactions were conducted at the Union office, generating $161,701 in agent processing fees. License Office Services' contract includes an annual commitment to return 1.5 percent (approximately $161,701) of future processing fees to the state.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
