Jefferson City License Office contract awardedJEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Jefferson City License Office to License Office Operations, LLC in Clayton. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The Jefferson City License Office will remain at its current location at 1617 Southridge Dr.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 143,800 transactions were conducted at the Jefferson City office, generating $478,155 in agent processing fees. License Office Operations' contract includes an annual commitment to return 10 percent (approximately $47,815) to the state.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
