Lebanon License Office contract awardedJEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Lebanon License Office to the Lebanon Education Foundation. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The Lebanon License Office will remain at its current location at 219 N. Adams St., Suite F.
In fiscal year 2014, more than 66,000 transactions were conducted at the Lebanon office, generating $218,614 in agent processing fees. The Lebanon Education Foundation's contract includes an annual commitment to return 7.5 percent (approximately $16,396) of future processing fees to the state.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
