St. Clair License Office contract awardedJEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the St. Clair License Office to the St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce has been the contractor of the St. Clair License Office for more than 30 years. The office will remain at its current location at 960 Plaza Dr., Suite H.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 26,000 transactions were conducted at the St. Clair office, generating approximately $88,000 in agent processing fees.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
