Proof of Financial Responsibility

Statutory reference: Section 303.160, RSMo.

In lieu of maintaining a liability insurance policy, you (an individual) may submit one of the following as proof that you can and will pay for damage caused by your vehicle(s):

• Surety Bond;
• Real Estate Bond or
• Deposit of Cash or Negotiable Securities (e.g., stocks, bonds, CD's, etc).
