The Driver Privacy Protection Act
The Driver Privacy Protection Act restricts the release of personal information (name, address, date of birth, etc.) from motor vehicle and driver licensing records. Members of the press may be authorized to receive this information if they have a Security Access Code from the Department of Revenue.
