Organ Donor Program Fund
Missouri law permits you to make a minimum $1 donation to the Organ Donor Program Fund at the time you apply for a driver license, permit, or nondriver license (302.171, RSMo). In addition, the law allows you to make a minimum $1 donation to the fund at the time you title and registration, or registration only, a vehicle (301.020, RSMo). Funds are used by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to support organ and tissue donation programs and to maintain a statewide confidential registry of donors.
Blindness Education, Screening and Treatment Fund
Missouri law permits you to make a $1 donation to the Blindness Education, Screening and Treatment Program Fund at the time you apply for a driver license, permit, or nondriver license. In addition, the law allows you to make a $1 donation to the fund at the time you title and registration, or registration only, a vehicle. Funds are used to provide blindness prevention education and to provide screening and treatment for persons who do not have adequate coverage for such services under a health benefit plan (209.015, RSMo).
World War I Memorial Trust Fund
You may make a $1 or $10 donation to the World War I Memorial Trust Fund at the time you title and registration, or registration only, your vehicle. The trust fund will be used toward restoration, renovation, and maintenance of a memorial or museum dedicated to World War I.
Missouri Medal of Honor Recipients Fund
You may make a $1 donation to the Missouri Medal of Honor Recipients Fund at the time you title and registration, or registration only, your vehicle. Moneys in the fund shall be used to pay any renewal fee for a memorial bridge or memorial highway signs for Missouri medal of honor recipients, and for the maintenance and repair of all such signs whether originally paid for by private donations or by the department of transportation.
