Department of Revenue News Release

JEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Afton License Office to Beacon Virtual Assistants, LLC in St. Charles. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.

The Afton License Office will remain at its current location at 9503 Gravois Rd.

In fiscal year 2014, more than 105,000 transactions were conducted at the Afton office, generating $359,450 in agent processing fees. Beacon Virtual Assistants' contract includes an annual commitment to return 10 percent (approximately $35,945) of future processing fees to the state.

All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
