JEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the St. Charles License Office to License Management, LLC of St. Charles. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The St. Charles License Office will remain at its current location at 2499 Raymond Dr.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 167,000 transactions were conducted at the St. Charles office, generating approximately $559,266 in agent processing fees. License Management's contract includes an annual commitment to return 10 percent (approximately $55,926) of future processing fees to the state.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
