Missouri Tax Forms have a NEW look!

Many of the tax forms mailed to the Department of Revenue are manually processed into our tax system by data entry personnel. We are currently enhancing our tax system to enable high speed scanners to read and capture data on our forms. The revised forms will allow for faster processing by the Department, as paper returns will bypass the manual keying process. This change resulted in longer forms as the data fields needed larger spacing for scanning accuracy.

Below is an example from the 2017 Missouri Individual Income Tax Return (MO-1040) and Property Tax Credit Claim (MO-PTC).
