Effective August 28, 2010 - House Bill 1524 and Senate Bill 754

House Bill 1524

  • Creates the "Legion of Merit" specialty plate.

Senate Bill 754

  • Adds "physician's assistant" to the list of medical professionals authorized to certify a qualifying "physical disability" for individuals who are attempting to obtain disabled person license plates or placards.

Effective January 1, 2010 - House Bill 269

House Bill 269

  • Exempts certain motor vehicles safety inspections for five years following the model year of the vehicle.
